One of the best moments was when I moaned, 'Oh my gosh, I'm going to die.' My midwife was quick to shoot back... 'No Robyn, you're not going to die, you're just having a baby.' I didn't like her very much at that moment.
(In panic stages of labour) Looking up at my midwife and thinking, 'is she seriously texting right now?'
(In panic stages of labour) Pushing and realizing my husband, mom, sister and midwife were all lined up staring at my "privates." Totally broke my "no lookin" rule... but didn't really care much at that point.
(Best memory) When my son got to come in afterwards and snuggle beside me on the bed. Oh how I love my babies!
I was in Calgary last weekend and had the pleasure of meeting Miss Allie in the flesh! It was the shortest 2 hour dinner of my life; when you are in good company, time passes too quickly!
