Since I have the most special boy in the world, I wanted to create a fun and special birth announcement. I (barely) managed to take his newborn photos on day 5. My body was still a mess, but I'm glad I pushed myself to get this precious photo... however, if I have the same amount of damage next time around I'm going to hire someone else to come and take the photos so I don't miss out on taking those few extra I wish I could have.  Then I thought it would be fun to give those extra special people that have supported us through pregnancy and will support us through parenthood a little gift. I thought about some different options (which I will keep hidden away in the back of my mind for future children) and came up with the perfect idea for our first born... So please, "toast to the birth of our son!"
