Writing the first entry in a blog can be intimidating, but perhaps the best place to start is to tell my own birth story.
I recently moved back to Abbotsford from San Francisco. I had to figure out what I wanted my new life to look like here... so I reflected. I enjoyed the things I did in San Francisco. Since I wasn't legally able to work there, I pursued what I loved. My time there was a rare gift that allowed me to discover what I enjoyed. I learned I was passionate about empowering women, and specifically women in pregnancy, labour and early motherhood. Becoming a doula was a great way for me to support women during their incredibly amazing experience of birth. Since I am naturally a creative person, it went hand in hand that I would include the arts in all my births. Behind a lens, I can elevate and empower both mother and baby. A new passion was born.
Hence... I know I love photography. I know I love women. I know I love babies. I know I love birth. If I'm lucky enough to have discovered what I love to do early in life, why not do it? Thus, Cradled Creations was born.
