Sweet Fern: Life At Home With Apert Syndrome

When Fern's mom contacted me and wanted to do a photo session to capture her uniqueness at 4 months old before she undergoes a number of surgeries in her life, I was so excited.  Fern is an amazing little girl full of life. Just like any other 4 month old baby, she fusses when she's tire, needs a bit of rocking to go to sleep, is well loved by her older sister, likes being read to, and is easily amused by watching her sister play close by. She will walk a different journey than most children, and this family has spent a lot of time in and out of Vancouver Children's Hospital, but that doesn't change Fern's sweetness and only adds to her story.
